Continuing on with TRADITION...
Every year during Thanksgiving break we drive north about 2 1/2 hours to The Dells in Wisconsin. It is a city famous for indoor waterparks--tons of them. So far, we have tried: Treasure Island, Antigua Bay, The Wilderness, Kalahari, and since it was a favorite, went back to the Kalahari this year. Hannah brought her friend, Emily, and we cheated and left Dallin with Trent and Brooke overnight. It made for a much easier vacation although we all missed Dallin's smiling face! We were back in time for a night's rest before Turkey Day with the Warner's. How wonderful to have family for the holidays!!

Hailey turned 5!!! Early in November Mom and Hailey both had birthdays. Hailey wanted a ladybug party and we did our best considering ladybugs aren't really in season during November. We used our imagination and turned red balloons into ladybugs, made our own pinata (a first!) and got into the scrapbooking and stamping stuff for making ladybug magnets as party favors. It was Hailey's first birthday party and she had such a grand time! She has darling friends who came and made the party come alive. Out of all the games like spin the bottle and draw out a trick, coloring mazes, bean bag toss, and even breaking the pinata, the kids had the most fun hitting their balloons all over the house. Simple. Fun. Wish I'd have known that's all it would take!!
